“Uptown Funk”, the Mark Ronson‘s track in collaboration with Bruno Mars, came back under the spotlight thanks to the performance of the “Stranger Things” young cast at the latest Emmy Awards ceremony on September 18th.
The song, which is the fourth collaboration between Ronson and Mars, influenced by the 80’s infective funk music, has won audience and press over: talking of sales, “Uptown Funk” was 2015 biggest hit, collecting Platinum certifications all around the world (9 million copies sold in the USA, 2,5 in UK and 400 thousand in Italy), for an incredible total amount of 15 million copies; the track has been also praised by critics, winning two Grammys, respectively Record of The Year and Best Duo/Group Performance, and it was nominated by Billboard as the 12th biggest success of all the time.
“Uptown Funk” music video (that you can check below), directed by Bruno Mars and Cameron Dubby, has collected until now 1.8 billion views on Youtube, becoming the third most watched video on Youtube.
